i left my cow in the trashcan

I feel really really happy for this friend
who was my "zero-point" buddy in primary one
who brought new stuff in sch to play with us
who stood up to the bully who wanted to snatch our rubber bands
who always played the girls' games
though he was a boy
now he's a man (a handsome one!)
a very talented pianist
no longer that "sissy" boy whom the boys teased
who would have thought otherwise?
I feel really proud of him
though we have not been in contact for like 10 years
but I remember those times vividly
that innocent friendship...
and I'm really happy for my friend
who has gone so far
to be the man he is today :)

2 more papers left for me..
enduring... coz they are core papers
cannot afford to do too badly
yet I've been staring at the same notes
while I wonder how much really got into my brain
so worn out and tired...
WHY 3 WEEKS FOR 5 PAPERS?!?!?
thats such a longggg time.
hate waiting, yet we wait all our lives

Miss the presence of God in my life
so dry sometimes that I wanna just drown myself
in His presence
then I realised men are so weak
wanna do things just based on my own strength?
wishful thinking
so foolish so dumb so ignorant
that's me

sometimes I feel so burdened by so many things
my family, my friends, things of this world
yet seeking perfection in His eyes
it's so difficult
praying yet not acknowledged
but knowing that He hears
just keep me going
coz prayers will be heard in His own time

HL101 Intro to English Literature down.
come to think if it, this is the slack-est module :P
2 more weeks to go, 3 more core papers
and this sem will be offically over

I have lost my studying momentum for a teeny weeny bit.
sigh, just when my core papers are here!!!

thanks to my friends who have given me encouragement

I shall get into battle gear and charge in for the remaining 3 battles

after reading yuwei's entry something struck me:
I DUN HAVE A STUDY GROUP and course mates whom I'm close to
ARGHH. I only have Yvonne and we xiang yi wei ming
boo.
the times when she's not in sch I:
-go to lectures myself
-go to tutorials myself
-eat lunch myself
-talk to myself

so sad huh.. but luckily I have a bunch of hall n ODAC mates
who dine with me
study with me
laugh with me
chat with me

and basically make me a happy girl in NTU

CS101 Intro to Communication Studies
one paper down... four more to go.
fifteen more days...

was very amazed by the video clips that SP showed me
coz they show angmohs doing free climbing and bouldering
one word to sum it all- POWER!!
ahhahaha.. beginning to talk like him too. lol

getting fatter already... seeing myself eating, sleeping n studying
like doing nth else!!

exams starting next mon!!! *screams*
hmm it's da CS101 paper- communication studies
come to realise that it's my least fave. *screams*

jay's album is niceeee!! despite critics that may slam him again
I think he did a wonderful job
except for the fact that his image looks suspiciously like rain
hahahaha
his compositions are getting more mature
it's so different from fantasy or 8 dimensions..

jay's moving away from infusing chinese classical only
to da influence of english classical and ancient chinese themes
this time creating a hybrid with that east/west vintage touch
but it's still jay's style
that's what I like about it :)

I like studying with my SP!!
always learning something new from him :)
