Daniel Wu acts as a professional assassin in Divergence. However, he does not keep to the principles of being one as he takes matters into his own hands. Tired of being a conformist in which assassins are supposed to mind their own business after their job is done, he helps HK policeman (Aaron Kwok) to uncover the truth behind the kidnapping of a rich businessman's son (businessman acted by Gallen Ho). Aaron believes the kidnap is related to the murder of his witness to Gallen's illegal money-laundering business. As he embarks on the truth himself, he chances upon the lawyer (Ekin Cheng) of Gallen whose wife resembles his missing girlfriend (Lee Sin je) of 10 years. Ekin, a top lawyer who has never lost a case, begins to lose himself as he cannot overcome the fact that he defends the guilty. A lawyer. A cop. An assassin. Their paths intertwined and divergence emerged...

3/5 stars :)

The weather is terrible. I've just taken a bath but I feel like I'm in a sauna. What's up man...

Have been slacking ard the house these days..watched "zai shi jie de zhong xin hu han ai" literally translating to be "Shouting love from the centre of the earth". Nice story. Very moving. Very depressing. But the drama version of it is much better coz I think the movie kinda short-cut the story and took away the essential tear-gerking parts.

Also watched some Daniel shows including the re-watching of "New Police Story" and "Love Undercover". This time got to hear him speak cantonese :) His cantonese was really quite bad a few years back but this time round he has improved tremendously! I understand perfectly what he says! hahaha.. am improving my cantonese as well :)

Can't wait for "Divergence" to show in theatres!

I had a dream yesterday. I dreamt that I was in HK and I met my friend whom I was supposed to meet when I go to HK this Saturday. Think it's kinda weird meeting him after all these years. Like meeting a friend who sometimes doesnt feel like a friend. Tension of the opposites? Anyway hope to catch up with him and probably be able to break thru that "weird barrier".

I love "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom. It's better than "The Five People You Meet in Heaven".

Sometimes you cannot believe what you see, you have to believe what you feel. And if you are ever going to have other people trust you, you must feel that you can trust them, too-even when you're in the dark. Even when you're falling.

Back from Zhiwei's commissioning parade. Was kinda impressed with seeing so many officers in smart white uniform :D The place is super ulu! Took cab from Kembangan with Shan and Wanny and it cost us $18.90! And the taxi driver is very humorous. He insists that the three of us were going there to watch our boyfriends being commissioned. -_-" Though we tried to explain... but he says he dun wanna fetch us if we dun admit. Okay.

Think it's very cool if I was really going to witness my boyfriend being commissioned. Haha. Anyway I saw so many people there.. so many SAJC people. First saw Weijian my ex-classmate.. then I saw some one batch older councillors. Then I saw some SA ruggers. Then Shan was telling me about Huan Hui this cute ex-HCJC bballer. Hmm.. oh yah I also saw Lionel! He's being commissioned. Then while taking photos with Zhiwei, we were beside Huan Hui and other bballers and suddenly Hui Jie (ex-classmate) appeared. A small world indeed.

Later me Shan Wanny Merbra Weisheng and Yuwei went Jurong Point for dinner. While having Ben's and Jerry's New York Super fudge whatever icecream @ the Boon Lay interchange I got Rootbeer float on my jeans thanks to Yuwei. I reek of vanilla all the way home.
