this morn got super kb supervisors on duty. me and yx got damn pissed. stupid 2 women. still, the Chinese supervisors are sooo much better and nicer.

Quite a boring morn but I got 2 sales. heh. was stoning for so long. today high security coz 3 armed police were patrolling for like 3 rounds in the morn when on the other days I only see them patrolling once. this 3 armed men very weird coz they patrolled super near the outpost and for a moment I got scared coz 3 of them surrounded me. haha. mayb they wanna try the perfume. haha. one of them looks like meng ze but "lao meng ze" coz he looks much older :P

afternoon when I punched out, me and Xue went out to the departure gate to look for the TVB HK actors coz they leaving for home today. we were just in time and there were a couple of fans getting autographs, taking photos and chatting with them. so we went over and did the same. haha. Raymond Lam aka the qin shi huang in the show "Xun Qin Ji" (also starring Louis Khoo) was very friendly. then the other actor Kelvin Cheng entered the departure gate first while Raymond was held back by his fans. Think coz Kelvin is relatively unknown. haha but I was nice to go take pic with him eh. Raymond got so much stuff in the end me and Xue helped him carry some of his barang barang in. the advantage of working in the airport! we became his female bodyguards and walked him to his departure gate. I concluded he's quite cute. lucky he is able to speak quite good mandrian or else I cant converse with him :P

me and my boyfriend. nah, kidding. he's HK actor Raymond Lam :) Posted by Hello

today is off day for me. the past 3 days of work can be considered quite enjoyable. the best part was meeting people from all over the world :)

there's this game i play with wanny, shan and yx. we have to find 10 guys whom we all agree to be cute/good-looking before we can all go home after our day out together. the last time we played was in cine. hmm, quite ok at least we manage to get home haha. once we played in citylink we had to give up or else we really have to camp there. anyway, if we were to play it in the airport transit area, we will all be able to go home in less than 15 minutes!!

first day at work wasnt too good coz i didnt have any sales. i saw benedict goh though. the guy who couldnt act and hosted "the pyramid game" on ch 5 when i was in primary sch. quite manly and good-looking haha. xue on the previous day saw nick shen.

second day had one sale courtesy of xue :) saw this really really handsome and tall pilot. hmm, i persume him to be a pilot of British Airways.

third day when i went to work my colleagues told me they saw Energy in the morning! urghh. too bad my shift was afternoon. made 2 sales. one a vietnamese and the other an australian. well, from the 3 days that i've been working the customers who buy without saying the price is too ex are the British, the Indonesians and the Australians. Especially the Aussies!! They are very nice people.

there's this group of Israeli old ladies who were really very friendly. they told me the perfume sells cheaper in Israel. hmm i had no idea why so i said maybe coz France is nearer to Israel? haha that will save some transportation fees i guess? they kept on asking me and my colleague to visit Israel saying it's a very beautiful place. i also want to. but $$$$...

tmr working early shift again. must go zzz more or else sure super tired. see ya guys.

I'm starting work in 8 hours' time! Getting very nervous. I'll be first shift at T1 outpost. Lucky Xue will come in for the mid-shift so I'll have company. But the anticipation... it's killing me!! Hope boss aka Roph will be in a good mood and so the start of the day will be as good as me hearing the perky " Good morning Saints!!". May the Lord be with me!

cant get to sleep again. these days my timings are all messed up. been sleeping at all sorts of weird hours. hmm..

On one sleepless night, Grace stared blankly into her computer screen. Though she felt weary, Sleep was not bothering her yet. Her small eyes remained wide open. Unknowingly, she started to surf the sites she frequented and logged onto her friendster. "Hmm, why are there so many birthday icons on my friends' pics?" she wondered. Didnt it occur to her tired mind that those friends were her orientation group mates back at SAJC? She paused for a moment, sucked in the still room air, scratched her forehead and blinked. "Oh, that's right! My OG peeps were born in jan and early feb!" She slapped her forehead, feeling stupid that she took so long to remember. 2 years had passed since. Well, she wouldnt forget the orientation in SAJC. Those days were one of the most memorable times in her life. The great OG, the super-on and fun councillors and the awesome orientation programme, all formed part of the amazing memory. Grace smiled. She always smiles when she thought of her SAJC days, it made her feel the warmth and friendliness she was embraced with back then. There was one thing she had always missed badly , the perky "Good morning Saints!!" which never failed to brighten her day.

She still misses it though.

training day today. was at airport T2 at 9am but boss was late. got to talk to some of my colleagues and well they were quite nice :) then soon came the boss with 5 of her other employees. we got a surprise coz 4 were guys and only one lady. new colleagues. haha. anyway one of the guys is also an ex-victorian like us. haha what a small world. but i dun remember seeing him in vj. stared at him for quite some time and hmm, well he does look a little familar.

then we went to exchange our ICs for visitor passes so we can access the transit area. my colleague Pris was telling me one of the police guys is kinda cute. well, too bad he's short. haha... anyway will be seeing him everyday when i go to work. maybe he has other taller and cuter police colleagues. -beams-

when we entered the transit area in T2, it was -whoa-. hmm, poor yunxin couldnt enter coz there was some problem with her pass. stupid. how can they miss her??? anyway T2 transit was -whoa- coz there are so many shops. Gucci being the very first store i saw. just like a mini orchard. okay not like i'm acting like a sua gu but hmm i dun shop there coz i dun transit in S'pore. haha.

we walked ard following our boss and getting to know our working surroundings. the next thing i knew we were each attached to a cashier and learning cashering. man, i used to think it was chicken feet. but... no! i was so nervous coz 1. all the buttons and keys dun resemble the toy cashier i had. 2. customers were 90% foreigners from around the world. 3. i suck at conversion rates. 4. customers can pay in foreign currencies 5. we were warned about fake US dollars.

anyway it went quite well for me. there's this part where we had to key in the nationality of the customer. the experienced casher can tell just from the customer's accent. wow. and i love customers who pay with credit cards. swiping the cards was fun haha. and no cash handling. good.

the working world is scary. i'm starting work like on fri? and there's only one or two promoters per area, night shift only one! hope Lancome's miracle so magic sells well! wanna earn as much commission as i can. miracle so magic smells good la. one of the best smelling perfumes i've come across so far :)

Today went back to DHS. Anyway have been gg back so often lately, shicheng, meetings for both chu guo chou wei and concert chou wei. Was with Xue and Yimyiu and we did so much admin stuff just no pay coz our boss is TTK. Haha.. and today first time talked to Mdm Tan aka TTK's wife and found that she's actually quite nice.

Nice. Yea, which reminds me the perception of a 15-year-old differs so much from the perception of an 18-yr-old. But maybe in my case it's mild. For kids these days I really think their perception is so clouded. I dunno abt myself actually, but I just feel that I think simple. Kids these days think complicated.

Which makes things complicated.

Like the situation in dhsco now? Hmm... Mdm Tan was saying how dhsco is thriving badly. Agreed. And how pathetic dhsco is coz we have no money when the budget is cut to almost half of what it was before. How parents these days pamper their children so much they have to protect them to the extreme and to the extend of sacrificing others' for the sake of their own benefit. What's fruit without labour? And kids these days simply have the wrong attitude.

Attitude problem. Sounds familar. Dun think it only exists now but since dunno when.

Seems crazy to be thinking of all these problems when I can completely wash my hands off it. But I just cant. Hearts break and memories come back in the process.

Some point in time life comes to a crossroad. Ahh.. some will think, 'Why did things turn out this way?' Did they actually consider that they played a part in shaping things? And it's simply not 'there is no choice, things will turn out this way no matter what'. That's just a lame excuse. A lame excuse that I have been using all this while. I am guilty as charged.

There is always a reason for some things to happen. What is seen may have only been the drop of water outta the entire ocean. There is always something bigger out there.

A new yr, a new start? For once this new yr is different. I feel so sorry for those who perished in the tsunami disaster. Thank God that S'pore was spared, had it been 500km off the actual earthquake location, who knows what would have happened? Thank God for that my friends and family are safe. It made me ponder upon the reason for the tsunami, why would/how could it destroy the homes of so many and claim countless lives? In the high-tech world today, where's the city with flying cars and zero pollution we see/envisioned in sci-fiction novels and movies? What we see now are heaps of rotting corpses, collapsed buildings, destroyed roads and public facilites. It's like whatever man-made or natural thing in the way of the waves ceased to exist. Nature takes its way. Could it be because something even bigger is coming our way?

"So He destroyed all living things which were on the face of the ground: both man and cattle, creeping thing and bird of the air. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark remained alive. And the waters prevailed on earth one hundred and fifty days." - Genesis 7:23-24
